Vendor Manager

Description

In order to support ITC's business development, the Vendor Management team is looking for a vendor manager whose main mission will be to accompany the development of the company in the implementation of new services offered to its clients.

Responsibilities

Recruitment of external resources

• Implement purchasing strategy for specific services/verticals

• Define qualification procedures for specific services/verticals

• Develop network according to strategy and procedures (including rates negotiation)

• Promote use of new vendors to the operational teams

• Ensure all information within the ITC vendor database is up to date and accurate.

 

Support to the operational and sales teams

• Support the sales team in the elaboration of quotes or responses to RFPs

• Help define best strategy to ensure project feasibility (including Implementing, testing, and delivering new solutions within company)

• Identify vendors for specific accounts

• Support the operational teams to place rush or sensitive projects

• Plan resource allocation for voluminous or long-term projects

• Negotiate project-specific rates to ensure margins

 

Quality feedback to vendors

• In collaboration with ITC’s Quality Manager, follow-up on vendors overall quality and take appropriate actions (CAPAs) to ensure quality is up to standard

• Provide regular feedback to vendors on quality

 

Other

• Promote activities on social medias and grow ITC’s presence in the market

• Convey ITC’s values by building trustful relationship with vendors

• Follow-up on KPIs

 

Profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the translation industry and in vendor management

• Ability to work under pressure and respect tight deadlines

• Ability to prioritize

• Autonomous and flexible

• Ability to take initiative

• Excellent negotiation skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Bilingual English and French

• Ideally Europe based (or willing to accomodate working hours to the European timezone)
